Your first appointment will be a consult appointment and often times we will proceed with treatment on the same day. A review of your medical and social history will be completed with Nurse along with identifying your treatment goals and needs. Once the treatment is reviewed and your questions have been answered, you can expect to have a video call with Nurse’s medical director who will delegate treatment directives to Nurse for all subsequent treatments. If you are comfortable with proceeding with treatment, then treatment will be done the same day.

Neuromodulators are used primarily to treat fine lines and wrinkles (the most common areas treated, but not limited to, are the forehead, glabellar complex, crows feet, and bunny lines). A neuromodulation, like Botox and Dysport, is an injectable medication that relaxes and softens the skin by restricting facial muscles from contracting. The treatment duration is only a few minutes and no anesthesia or downtime is required. Results are often seen within 5-7 days of treatment but sometimes requires a full 2 weeks for optimal results

Dermal fillers are used to restore volume loss and to fill static wrinkles that occur from the natural aging process ( the most common areas treated, but not limited to, are the lips , cheekbones, nasolabial folds, and marionette lines). A lidocaine-based gel is often used prior to treatment to numb the treatment area and to make the treatment more comfortable and some treatments with dermal fillers will experience localized redness, swelling, and/or bruising post treatment. The results of the treatment are immediately seen after treatment.

Neuromodulator results lasts approximately 3-4 months in duration and dermal filler results last approximately 12 months in duration.
